Join us in November for a volunteer event with Farm Lab​!

The EUSD Farm Lab program recently received the Golden Bell award in the climate change innovation category. The 10-acre property has two main components to serve all EUSD students: an organic farm and the DREAMS satellite sustainability campus.

What the NSD team will be supporting:

• Install new irrigation header line
• Measure, mark, and punch new emitters spaces for drip line
• Reshape beds and add amendment
• Shovel walkways
• Lay tarp on west-side for weed mitigation

What to bring:

• Gloves (if you have them)
• Sun/weather protection
• Farm appropriate clothing and shoes. Plan to get dirty!
• Reusable water bottle
